The coin was produced from 1810 to 1826. The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding around the circumference of the rim with inward-facing teeth.
The obverse of the coin depicts the State Emblem
of the Russian Empire first half of XIX century. The coat of arms double-headed eagle with raised wings, crowned by two Imperial crowns, above is the same crown but larger. Right Talon the eagle holds a scepter, the left - power. On the chest is placed a shield with the Moscow coat of arms: St. George on horseback slaying a serpentine dragon with wings.
Moscow coat of arms surrounded by chain of the order of Saint Apostle Andrey Pervozvannogo. In a circle along the rim at the top of the par - "МОНЕТА РУБЛЬ" at the bottom the year of issue "1814", the inscription divided into three six-pointed stars.
On the coin reverse in the middle of a four-line inscription: "ЧИСТАГО СЕРЕБРА 4 ЗОЛОТН. 21 ДОЛЯ"(symbol of the weight of pure metal).
