A sample copy of a coin with the monogram of Catherine I, standard chasing, this option did not go. The obverse and reverse sides surrounded by the edge with large teeth inward.

On the obverse is placed the monogram of Catherine I - large letter "Е" left - small Roman numeral "I" to the right is a small letter "К" Below the double horizontal line indicated the year of coinage - "1727".

The reverse of the coin depicts St. George on horseback slaying a serpentine dragon with wings. The image is well detailed. Below a double horizontal line has the word "МОСКВА" designating the place of coinage.
