Description of coin Ruble 1725 (portrait left, Moscow):

Coin sample 1725 with a portrait of the Moscow type, head to the left. Was produced in the years 1725-1726. The circumference of the front and back of a speaker threadlike Kant (in some instances, may partially be omitted).

On the obverse is a portrait of Catherine I in profile, face to the left. In a circle the inscription (starting at the top) - "ЕКАТЕРIНА• IМПЕРАТРИЦА• IСАМОДЕРЖИЦА• ВСЕРОСIСКАЯ"

The reverse depicts the coat of arms of the Russian Empire the first quarter of XVIII century: the double-headed eagle with the lifted wings, crowned by two Imperial crowns, above the same crown but larger. In a circle the inscription (starting at the top) - "• МОНЕТА •  НОВАЯ • ЦЕНА • РУБЛЬ • 1725 •"(letters converted basis inside).
