is a portrait of Catherine II in profile, face to the right. Under the portrait letters "ММД"(Moscow
mint) on the shoulder cut letters "Т I"(initials of Timothy Ivanovich Ivanov, the author of the portrait). In a circle the inscription - "Б•М•ЕКАТЕРИНА•II•IМП•IСАМОД•ВСЕРОС"(stands for "the grace of God Catherine II Empress and autocrat of all Russias").On the reverse
in the Central circle there is a simplified depiction of the coat of Arms of the Russian Empire
double - headed eagle with scepter and Orb. There are four large cartouche with images: the crown (left), the Moscow coat of arms (top), coat of arms of the Kingdom of the Siberian (bottom), coat of arms of the Kingdom of Kazan (right). The top cartouche is crowned with the Imperial crown, the other normal crown. Between the cartouches are four little flower, on which figures of the year of minting - "1", "7", "6", "2".
