Description of coin 5 kopecks 1793 (EAT, Pavlovsky pricecan):

At the end of the reign of Catherine II, count P. Zubov made reform, in which the whole copper coin was supposed to be two times lighter. Old nickels minted in 10 cents with a new pattern. After coming to power of Paul I started back pereselenka 10 cents in coin, they can see traces of the old images. Stamps with letters "ЕМ"used with dates "1791", "1793", "1794" and "1796", the first three dates - a specially prepared stamps, different from the usual Ekaterinburg this time in a smaller berries in the Laurel branch.

The obverse of the coin shows the monogram of Catherine II of the letters of the "I"(Empress), "Е"(Catherine) and Roman numerals "II" Upstairs the Imperial crown. The sides of the year, is divided into two parts - "17" and "93". Image is surrounded by two branches connected at the bottom with a bow.

The reverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of the Russian Empire in the second half of the XVIII century. The coat of arms double-headed eagle with raised wings, crowned by two Imperial crowns, above is the same crown but larger. Right Talon the eagle holds a scepter, the left - power. On the chest is placed a shield with the Moscow coat of arms: St. George on horseback slaying a serpentine dragon with wings. At the bottom along the edge is a ribbon with the inscription - "ПЯТЬ • КОПЕЕКЪ"
