Coin sample 1764 (portrait of a young Catherine II). Were produced from 1764 to 1776. In a circle the front and back of a rim with notches (on some coins may partially be absent, it is not a marriage).
On the obverse is a portrait of Catherine II in profile, face to the right. In a circle the inscription - "Б•М•ЕКАТЕРИНА•II•IМП•IСАМОД•ВСЕРОС"(stands for "the grace of God Catherine II Empress and autocrat of all Russias"). The sawed-off sleeves letters "Т I"- the initials of the author of the portrait of Timofey Ivanov. Under the portrait letters "СПБ"(Saint-Petersburg).
On the reverse cartouche, indicating the denomination and year in three lines "ГРИВЕН НИКЪ 1771" In the upper part of the cartouche, two stylized Laurel branches, between the Imperial crown.
