is a portrait of Catherine II in profile, face to the right. In a circle the inscription - "Б•М•ЕКАТЕРИНА•II•IМП•IСАМОД•ВСЕРОС"(stands for "the grace of God Catherine II Empress and autocrat of all Russias"). Under the portrait letters "ММД"(Moscow
mint).On the reverse
cartouche, indicating the denomination and year in three lines "ГРИВЕН НИКЪ 1775" In the upper part of the cartouche, two stylized Laurel branches, between the Imperial crown.
