In 1755 it was planned to start peretachenko old dimes Petrovsky type in pennies. New coins were developed several design options. Presented here is one of them (the portrait is then replaced by the image of the eagle, repeating the reverse, but with the monogram instead of the nominal).
On the obverse is a portrait of Elizabeth I, in profile, face to the right. In a circle the inscription - "Б•М•ЕЛИСАВЕТЪ•I•IМП:ИСАМОД:ВСЕРОС:"(stands for "the grace of God Elizabeth I Empress and autocrat of all Russias").
The reverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings sitting on a cloud. The head of an eagle facing the shield in front of him. The shield set the denomination in three lines - "•1• COP IKA". At the bottom the year of issue "1755.".
