Description of coin 5 kopecks 1758:

Coin of this type with the monogram of Elizabeth I were made in 1758-1762 years (up to the mass Peresecina, conducted by Peter III). Under Catherine II coinage was continued with a different monogram.

The obverse of the coin shows the monogram of Elizabeth I, represents the Union of the letters "Е"(Elizabeth) and Latin "P"(Petrovna), repeated in mirror image. Upstairs the Imperial crown. The sides of the year, is divided into two parts - "17" and "58". Image is surrounded by two branches connected at the bottom with a bow.

The reverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of the Russian Empire in the second half of the XVIII century. The coat of arms double-headed eagle with raised wings, crowned by two Imperial crowns, above is the same crown but larger. Right Talon the eagle holds a scepter, the left - power. On the chest is placed a shield with the Moscow coat of arms: St. George on horseback slaying a serpentine dragon with wings. Moscow coat of arms surrounded by chain of the order of Saint Apostle Andrey Pervozvannogo. At the bottom along the edge is a ribbon with the inscription - "ПЯТЬ • КОПЕЕКЪ"
