The coin is minted from copper, produced from 1849 to 1856 (the 1856 coins are known only in a few instances). The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping.
The obverse of the coin shows the monogram of Nicholas I (the large stylized letter "Н" at the bottom of Roman numeral "I" above the letter "Н"great Imperial crown).
On the coin reverse in the middle of the specified par - "КОПЕЙКА" above him a large Imperial crown, below the year of issue "1855.", below - letters "Е.М."(Yekaterinburg coin).
