Description of coin 2 kopecks 1827 (EM-IR):

The coin is minted from copper, produced from 1810 to 1830. The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding around the circumference of the rim with notches. Partial or complete absence of Kant is not a marriage and is determined by the technology of minting.

The obverse of the coin depicts the State Emblem of the Russian Empire first half of XIX century. The coat of arms double-headed eagle with raised wings, crowned by two Imperial crowns, above is the same crown but larger. Right Talon the eagle holds a scepter, the left - power. On the chest is placed a shield with the Moscow coat of arms: St. George on horseback slaying a serpentine dragon with wings. Moscow coat of arms surrounded by chain of the order of Saint Apostle Andrey Pervozvannogo. Under the clutches of an eagle located mintmaster the initials of the mint - letters "И"and "К" Under the tail in a semicircle along the rim the year of issue "1827.".

The reverse of the coin , nominal value - "2", below in two lines - "КОПЕЙ"and "КИ." over the nominal value of the Imperial crown. Downstairs there is a solid line underneath the letters "Е.М."(Yekaterinburg coin). In a circle along the rim are two branches (oak and Laurel) that are associated at the bottom with tape.
