Description of coin 5 kopecks 1826 (SPB NG):

The coin was produced from 1810 to 1826. The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding around the circumference of the rim with a slight inward-facing teeth. Partial or complete absence of Kant is not a marriage and is determined by the technology of minting.

The obverse of the coin depicts the State Emblem of the Russian Empire first half of XIX century. The coat of arms double-headed eagle with raised wings, crowned by two Imperial crowns, above is the same crown but larger. Right Talon the eagle holds a scepter, the left - power. On the chest is placed a shield with the Moscow coat of arms: St. George on horseback slaying a serpentine dragon with wings. Moscow coat of arms surrounded by chain of the order of Saint Apostle Andrey Pervozvannogo. Under the clutches of an eagle located mintmaster the initials of the mint - letters "Н"and "Г" Under the tail in a semicircle along the rim the year of issue "1826.".

On the coin reverse in the center of the specified face value: the figure "5" below the floor "КОПЕЕКЪ" Under the denomination located solid horizontal line, under which the letters "С.П.Б." meaning "Saint Petersburg". At the edges of the coins of the two branches of the Laurel oak on the left and right, connected at the bottom with tape. At the top is the Imperial crown.
