Description of coin 10 rubles 1895 "10 roubles Imperial":

Monetary reform 1895-1898 years implied a reduction of the weight of gold coins in half. To avoid popular unrest, it was planned to continue the coinage of full-bodied coins, but denominations of the notes (the word "Imperial" has long been called gold 10 rubles). In the future of these coins refused. Were minted a total of 375 pieces (in 1895-1897 for 125 each year).

The coin is made of gold of 900 tests. The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding around the circumference of the rim with inward-facing teeth shaped "Ω"

The obverse of the coin shows the profile of Nicholas II face to the left. To the left of the profile from the bottom up in a semicircle along the rim is the inscription: "Б.М.НИКОЛАЙ II ИМПЕРАТОРЪ"("Б.М."means "God's grace"). To the right of the profile also circumferentially along the rim, but top to bottom the inscription: "И САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ВСЕРОСС."

On the coin reverse in the Central part of the depiction of the Small State Emblem of the Russian Empire of the sample of 1883. The coat of arms double-headed eagle crowned with two Imperial crowns, above is the same crown, but a larger size is associated with lower crowns waving a tape of Andrew's order. Right Talon the eagle holds a scepter, the left - power. Placed on the breast the Moscow coat of arms: St. George on horseback slaying a serpentine dragon with wings. Moscow coat of arms surrounded by chain of the order of Saint Apostle Andrey Pervozvannogo. Lifted up on the wings of an eagle located the coats of arms of the eight kingdoms (four on each wing). On the left the arms of the kingdoms: Kazan, Polish, Tauric Chersonesos, and United in one the coats of arms of the Grand principalities of Kiev, Vladimir and Novgorod. On the right the arms of kings: Astrakhan, Siberia, Moscow and the Grand Duchy of Finland. The tail of a stylized eagle made. Around the emblem there is a rim of points. In the outer part of the reverse at the top in a semicircle, nominal value - "ИМПЕРIАЛЪ" at the bottom of a half circle "10 РУБЛЕЙ ЗОЛОТОМЪ 1895 Г." The inscriptions are separated with stylized flowers.
