Coin of this type was produced from 1797 to 1801 (1797 was one and a half times heavier). In some instances, can be partially raised rim with notches.
The obverse of the coin shows the monogram of Paul I: a large stylized letter "П"with very curved lines at the bottom of Roman numeral "I" upstairs the Imperial crown.
On the coin reverse close-up set value: the number "5" under it the word "КОПЕЕКЪ" Held below horizontal line, under which the year of issue "1801". In the bottom, two crossed branches, above them the letters "С.М."(St. Petersburg coin), under them the letters "АИ"(initials of mintmaster).
