Description of coin Polupoltinnik 1798 (SP OHMS):

Coin sample 1797 1798 were reduced in weight by almost half. All images remained the same. The circumference of the front and back sides has a raised rim with notches (on some coins partially or completely absent).

The obverse of the coin is the monogram of Paul I, consisting of four large letters "П" set around Roman numerals "I" United at the base. Above the letters is placed the Imperial crown. In a circle along the rim the inscription, divided into 4 parts: "ПОЛУ ПОЛТИ ННИКЪ 1798.Г."

On the coin reverse in double square frame, surrounded by a stylized pattern, the inscription in four lines - "НЕ НАМЪ, НЕ НАМЪ, А ИМЯНИ ТВОЕМУ." Under the pattern of the frame are the letters: "С.П."(Saint Petersburg) to the left and "О.М"(initials of mintmaster) to the right.
