Trial coin, known in several copies. In a circle on the obverse and reverse of the coin features a wide rim with notches. Varieties: denomination without the wreath; denomination in wreath; an eagle instead of a monogram.
On the obverse cartouche with four stylized branches, facing upward. At the top of the Imperial crown. Inside the cartouche is a monogram of Peter III, composed of Latin letters "Р"("Peter") and the number "3".
On the reverse in two lines, nominal value - "ПЯТЬ КОПЕЕКЪ" at the bottom the year of issue "1762". Upstairs is the large Imperial crown.
