The obverse of the coin in the centre circle placed pogonny portrait of Peter the great in profile, on his head a Laurel wreath. Outside there is a circular inscription (from top): "ЦРЬ ПЕТРЪ САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ИПОВЕЛIТЕЛЬ ВСЕРОСИСКIИ"(the beginning and the end of the label, separated by a cross). On the outside the inscription enclosed with a continuous ring.
On the coin reverse in the Central circle of small dots depict the coat of arms of Russia since Peter the great two - headed eagle with outstretched wings, on the heads of the Royal crown, over which is the same, but larger. In paws the eagle holds the symbols of power - the scepter and Orb. Outside, on the circumference there is the inscription - "МАНЕТА ДОБРАЯ ЦЕНА ПОЛЪТИНА СЗ ГОДУ"(specify the denomination and year old Church Slavonic letters).
