Poltina with a portrait in Laurel wreath, and a small head size was produced in the years 1701-1702. The front and back sides surrounded by a rim of pixels (can be partly or completely absent, this is not a marriage).
On the obverse is a portrait of Peter the Great in profile, face to the right. Of the circumference - "ЦРЬ ПЕТРЪ АЛЕSIЕВИЧЪ ВСЕА РОСIИ ПОВЕЛIТIЛЬ"("Tsar Pyotr Alexeyevich, All-Russian ruler", the beginning and the end of the label, separated by a cross).
On the coin reverse in the center the emblem of Russia at the beginning of the XVIII century - double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, on the heads of the Royal crown, over which is the same, but larger. In paws the eagle holds the symbols of power - the scepter and Orb. The circumference of the designated denomination of the coin "МАНЕТА ДОБРАА ЦЕНА ПОЛТIНА"and the year of issue of the old Slavonic letters ("҂АѰА"- "1701").
