The half portrait of this type (in knight armor) was produced in the years 1718-1720, had four obverse. Front and back of the braid is surrounded by a rim (partially or completely absent, this is not a marriage).
On the obverse is a portrait of Peter the Great in profile, face to the right. The shotgun sleeve letter "М"- the sign of the author of the portrait of F. Medintseva. Of the circumference - "ЦРЬ ПЕТРЪ АЛЕSIЕВИЧЪ ВСЕА РОСИI САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ"("Tsar Peter Alexeyevich of All Russia, autocrat").
On the coin reverse in the center the emblem of Russia at the beginning of the XVIII century - double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, on the heads of the Royal crown, over which is the same, but larger. In paws the eagle holds the symbols of power - the scepter and Orb. The top of the circle marked with the denomination of the coin - "МОНЕТА НОВАА ЦЕНА ПОЛТIНА"and the year of issue of the old Slavonic letters ("҂АѰИI"- "1718").
