Poltina with a portrait in shoulder pads was produced in the years 1720-1722, in 1722 stated the title "ИМПЕРАТОРЪ"earlier "ЦРЬ"(the king). The front and back sides surrounded by a raised rim of leaves (partially or completely absent, this is not a marriage).
On the obverse is a portrait of Peter the Great in profile, face to the right. Of the circumference - "ПЕТРЪ А ИМПЕРАТОРЪ IСАМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ВСЕРОССИIСКИI"("Peter, Emperor and autocrat of all Russia").
On the coin reverse in the center the emblem of Russia at the beginning of the XVIII century - double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, on the heads of the Royal crown, over which is the same, but larger. In paws the eagle holds the symbols of power - the scepter and Orb. The top of the circle marked with the denomination of the coin - "• МОНЕТА • НОВААЦЕНА • ПОЛТIНА"and the year of coinage - "1722".
