The ruble with a portrait of this type (in knight armor and a cloak) was produced in 1718-1720. Front and back of the braid is surrounded by a rim (partially or completely absent, this is not a marriage).
On the obverse is a portrait of Peter the Great in profile, face to the right. Of the circumference - "ЦРЬ • ПЕТРЪ • АЛЕSIЕВИЧЪВСЕА • РОСИI • САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ •"("Tsar Peter Alexeyevich of All Russia, autocrat").
On the coin reverse in the center the emblem of Russia at the beginning of the XVIII century - double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, on the heads of the Royal crown, over which is the same, but larger. In paws the eagle holds the symbols of power - the scepter and Orb. At the top of the circle, nominal value - "МАНЕТА • НОВАА • ЦЕНА • РУБЛЬ"and the year of issue of the old Slavonic letters ("҂АѰИI"- "1718").
