Description of coin 1/3 Taler 1761:

1/3 Taler was produced only in 1761, without any varieties.

In 1758 during the Seven years war, Russia withdrew the capital of Prussia, Konigsberg and its surrounding area. In a year there was established the minting with Russian symbols and inscriptions in the local language. In 1762, the territory was again ceded to Prussia, and coin production was stopped.
