Since 1781, even before the transition of Georgia under Russian protectorate for the treatment of this area begin to mint copper coins with inscriptions in the Georgian language (Bisti and provisti). Signing Georgievskogo treatise in 1783 Georgia becomes a part of the Russian Empire
. Later starts chasing bullets - small copper coins. 1804 established the minting of all denominations of a new type (Bisti, polubit and bullets made of copper, and Paribas, and double abaz abaz silver). The last coins of Georgia date back to 1833, after which there is a transition on the national coins.
Bisti old model was produced in 1781, 1787, 1789, 1791 and 1796 years (the date on the Georgian calendar: "1201", "1202", "1203", "1206", "1210"). There are also coins without a date on the Julian calendar relating to 1781.
