Description of coin 1 1/2 rubles 1836 "10 zloty "Family":

The circumference of the front and back sides have a raised rim, and a ring of ovals and dots. Minted in 1835 and 1836. Coins of 1836 have 4 kinds of signatures of the engraver and one of the official remake.

On the obverse is a portrait of Nicholas I in profile, face to the right. At the bottom edge neck the signature of the engraver: «П.У.»(Pavel Utkin) or «Р.П.УТКИНЪ»(cut by Pavel Utkin), known variants without initials. Left a semicircle from the bottom up the value in rubles - "1 1/2 ruble," right, top to bottom the denomination of the zloty and the year of issue - "10 ZLOT. 1835".

On the reverse, placed 8 portraits of the Royal family, they are executed in profile. In the Central circle is a portrait of the Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, upstairs - Alexander Nikolaevich (the future Emperor), then clockwise to the children of Nicholas I: Maria, Olga, Nikolai, Mikhail, Konstantin, Alexandra.


The photo shows the pieces from the exhibition "the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Empire" the State Hermitage Museum that have a number: HE-R-2-12137 and IT-R-2-12138.


"Family" or "family" of the ruble was minted on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the reign of Nicholas I.
