Description of coin 1 ruble 1992 (L):

Chasing produced round billet of steel with a brass coating. The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping. Sideways partially visible steel substrate.

The obverse of the coin in the center of the specified denomination in two lines - "1 РУБЛЬ" underneath the horizontal line with the letter "Л"in the center (Leningrad mint). Still below the year of issue "1992". The sides along the rim: left wheat ear, the right branch of an oak tree (symbol of abundance and peace).

The reverse of the coin depicts the emblem of the Bank of Russia - double-headed eagle with the lowered wings, below a semi-circle along the rim the inscription - "БАНК РОССИИ"

Famous rubles 1992 copper-Nickel alloy - non-magnetic white metal (there are like a letter L, M, and with the sign of the MMD). They were minted on the blank for 15 cents of the sample of 1961, have a smooth edge. These coins are highly prized among collectors.

The only variation for this coin with the symbol of the Leningrad mint (letter "Л".
On the wings and torso of an eagle, the feathers have the groove.
