Embossing is produced on the workpiece consisting of two metals - yellow bronze ring, inside which copper-Nickel disk. The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping.
The obverse of the coin in the centre (the white disc) depicts the emblem of the Bank of Russia - double-headed eagle with drooping wings. The circumference at the top of the par - "СТО РУБЛЕЙ" below - "БАНК РОССИИ" The inscriptions are separated by patterns consisting of rhombuses 6 United.
On the coin reverse in the centre is the denomination in two lines - "100 РУБЛЕЙ" underneath, a sign of the Leningrad mint (stylized letters "ЛМД". On the yellow ring at the top a five-pointed star on the left ear of wheat, the right branch of an oak tree (symbol of abundance and peace). At the bottom the year of issue "1992".
