Description of coin 50 rubles 1993 (MMD, magnetic Metall):

Coins of this type were issued in October 1995 using stamps 1993. In connection with inflation, the precious metals became unprofitable, so the minting applied steel billet with a thin coating of bronze. Has ferromagnetic properties. The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping. Sideways partially visible steel substrate.

The obverse of the coin in the center there is the emblem of the Bank of Russia - double-headed eagle with drooping wings. The circumference at the top of the par - "ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ РУБЛЕЙ" below - "БАНК РОССИИ" The inscriptions are separated by patterns consisting of 5 United diamonds.

On the coin reverse in the centre is the denomination in two lines - "50 РУБЛЕЙ" underneath the mark of the Moscow mint (stylized letters "ММД".
