The obverse of the coin

(consists of letters "ММД". On the left, near Kant is one small part of a floral ornament.On the coin reverse there
is a portrait of A. P. Ermolov in full face in military uniform with medals. In the bottom part along the rim a semicircular stylized ribbon with the inscription - "А.П.ЕРМОЛОВ"
The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping.

Alexey Petrovich Yermolov (1777-1861) began to serve in the army at the age of 14. In 1798 on suspicion of plotting a revolution, he was arrested and held in exile until the accession to the throne of Alexander I, when he continued his military career. During the Patriotic war of 1812 was a great military leader, he displayed heroism in several battles. The service continued until 1827, after which he wrote his memoirs.
