The obverse of the coin
to the left of the center, specified value: large figure "2" where the word "РУБЛЯ" Below the horizontal inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" which date is "2012". On the right side there is a stylized plant branch, near which is a mark of the Moscow mint
(consists of letters "ММД". On the left, near Kant is one small part of a floral ornament.On the coin reverse there
is a portrait of L. L. Bennigsen full face in military uniform with medals. In the bottom part along the rim a semicircular stylized ribbon with the inscription - "Л.Л.БЕННИГСЕН"
The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping.

Leonty Leontyevich Bennigsen (1745-1826) won the first-ever victory over Napoleon in 1807 at Eylau, but then came the defeat and the General was demoted. In 1812 he entered the headquarters, was one of the commanders in the battle of Borodino, participated in the Council at Fili, won the battle of Tarutino. After being injured for a year was dismissed from the post of commander of cavalry.
