The obverse of the coin

(consists of letters "ММД". On the left, near Kant is one small part of a floral ornament.The reverse of the coin
depicts the monument on the site of the battle in the Czech town of Kulm. On a circle the inscription: top - "СРАЖЕНИЕ У КУЛЬМА" at the bottom in a smaller font - "ЗАГРАНИЧНЫЕ ПОХОДЫ РУССКОЙ АРМИИ 1813-1814 ГОДОВ"(labels separated by dots).
The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping.

The battle took place on 16-17 (29-30 in the new style) August, 1813, it was attended by the allied armies of Russia, Austria and Prussia. In just two days in the battle was attended by about 60 thousand soldiers against the 35-strong corps of the French General Vandamme. Despite the defeat in Russia, the French managed to recover and get reinforcements. On the first day of the battle before the arrival of the Russian army allies have kept the offensive, suffering heavy losses. The next day the whole corps of Vandamme surrendered.
