depicts the monument "Victory" in the city of Krivoy Rog (Dnepropetrovsk region, Ukraine). On a circle the inscription: top - "ДНЕПРОВСКО-КАРПАТСКАЯ ОПЕРАЦИЯ" below - "ВЕЛИКАЯ ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА 1941-1945 гг."(labels separated by five-pointed stars).
The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping.

The Dnieper-Carpathian operation was the next step for the liberation of Ukraine after the Battle of the Dnieper. Took place from 24 December 1943 to 17 April 1944, with Soviet and Czechoslovak troops on the one hand, German and Romanian on the other. Was first liberated city of the North-Western part of Ukraine (Zhitomir, Vinnitsa, etc.), then began a further offensive in the southern direction, after which the German army was in the pot. The environment was broken and the German troops managed to connect with the main army, crossed the Soviet border. The result of the Dnieper-Carpathian operation was the liberation of almost all of Ukraine and completion of the main phase of the war in the South-West. Only the battles from both sides attended by almost 4 million soldiers, 60 thousand units of equipment and 4 thousand aircraft.
