The obverse of the coin
to the left of the center, specified value: a large figure "5" under the word "РУБЛЕЙ" Below the horizontal inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" which date is "2016". On the right side there is a stylized plant branch, near which is a mark of the Moscow mint
(consists of letters "ММД". On the left, near Kant is one small part of a floral ornament.The coin's reverse
depicts a sculpture of Soviet soldiers, part of the Monument-mausoleum in Bratislava, there you can see the obelisk of the same complex, in the background the outlines of a modern city. At the top of a semicircle between two five-pointed stars and the inscription - "БРАТИСЛАВА" beneath the image horizontally the date of the liberation of Budapest - "4 АПРЕЛЯ 1945 г."
The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping.
The coin was released August 1, 2016.
Bratislava-Browska offensive was carried out simultaneously with the Vienna operation from 25 March to 5 may 1945, it resulted in the complete liberation of Slovakia and opening the way to Prague. By this time the German army had already lost many of the sources of reinforcements, but continued to actively defend. Many of the buildings of Bratislava was pre-mined, built fortifications. To take the city managed from the North-West side, it took three days.
