(old type) and weight of pure metal in grams - "to 31.1". Surrounds the emblem of the Bank of Russia a ring of raised dots. Over the ring in a semicircle along the edge to the specified denomination and year of issue "3 РУБЛЯ 1995г." the bottom semi-circle: "БАНК РОССИИ" The upper and lower inscriptions on both sides separated from each other by two crossed ellipses.
The reverse relief image of sitting on a branch sable. Sable is a mammal of the weasel family, inhabit the forests on the whole territory of Russia, also found in China, Mongolia and Japan. Length is 56 inches. Animal listed in the Red book.
On the front and reverse sides of the coin there is acting on the circumference of the piping.
