On the obverse of the coins in the circle framed by Nosovym rim, is the relief picture of the emblem of the Bank of Russia - double-headed eagle with the lowered wings, under it an inscription a semicircle "БАНК РОССИИ" as well as on the circumference there are inscriptions, separated by dots: the denomination of the coin - "ТРИ РУБЛЯ"and the year of issue "2012", between them bear the label of metal on the Periodic system of elements di Mendeleev, fineness, the trademark of the Moscow mint
and weight of precious metal in purity.
On the flip side of the coin the relief image of the monument to Peter the Great in Tula against the building of Tula state Museum of weapons, flintlock pistol and the ornament on the front of the gun, there is an inscription around the circumference "300-ЛЕТИЕ НАЧАЛА ГОСУДАРСТВЕННОГО ОРУЖЕЙНОГО ПРОИЗВОДСТВА В ТУЛЕ"
On the obverse and reverse sides of the coins along the circumference there is a raised rim.
