Description of coin 3 rubles "The XXII Winter Olympic games 2014 in Sochi. Biathlon":

On the front and the reverse of the coin features a speaker on a circle of Kant.

On the obverse there is the relief image of the emblem of the Russian Federation (two-headed eagle with scepter and Orb on his chest - St. George slaying the serpent). Near the right paw of the eagle the weight of pure silver in grams - "to 31.1", under it - the mint mark (SPMD - St. Petersburg). Near the left paw of the eagle designated the metal - Ag 925 (silver 925). Under the eagle, nominal value - "3 РУБЛЯ" below is the year of the Olympic games in Sochi "2014". At the top along the rim in a semicircle marked with the name of the country - "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" At the beginning and end of the label has a pattern of two combined squares. AVERS made in the technique of Proof.

The reverse shows biathlete with a rifle in the time of the shooting, to his right, the emblem of the Olympic games in Sochi: the inscription "СОЧИ" under it - "2014", again below the Olympic rings.
