The obverse of the coin
vividly depicts St. Basil's Cathedral (Pokrovsky Cathedral) in Moscow, right underneath the mark of the Moscow mint
(stylized letters "ММД" upstairs on the left the emblem of the Bank of Russia: double-headed eagle with drooping wings. To the left along the rim, a semicircular inscription "БАНК" also right along the rim "РОССИИ" In the lower part of the field of coins of the specified denomination in two lines - "1 РУБЛЬ" beneath finely, the year of coinage - "1992".The coin's reverse
depicts a close-up of the winged goddess of Victory with raised right hand wreath. In the background is the House of Soviets, which was signed document of sovereignty. Circumferentially along the rim the inscription: "СУВЕРЕНИТЕТ ДЕМОКРАТИЯ ВОЗРОЖДЕНИЕ"(words separated by branches of Laurel).
