depicted in the foreground T-34 with Soviet soldiers sitting on it, the soldier solemnly greeted the inhabitants of the city. In the background are the attractions of Prague. Circumferentially along the rim inscriptions: at the top - "ОСВОБОЖДЕНИЕ ЕВРОПЫ ОТ ФАШИЗМА" bottom "PRAGUE 09∙05∙1945." (upper inscription is separated from the lower points).
The obverse and reverse of the coin features the speaker on the circumference of the piping.

The Prague operation was the last in Europe during the Second World war, took place from 5 to 12 may 1945. Part of the Nazi military command of the defeated Berlin moved into the still under occupation of Prague, and from there ruled the million-man army. In the city there was a popular uprising against the Nazis, they were joined by some German battalions. The US government refused to move on the line of its influence, therefore, the actions for the liberation of Prague went to the USSR and of the army collected in the liberated territories. After the entrance of the troops into the city, began a massive retreat, the Nazis were surrounded and a few days during the fighting, surrendered. It was the final elimination of the forces of Nazi Germany.
