The obverse of the coin
in the ring of dots in relief is depicted the dome of the Senate building in the Moscow Kremlin and Spasskaya tower, right of the turret the mark of the Moscow mint
(stylized letters "ММД". The outside of the ring semi-circle along the rim inscriptions: at the top - "ТРИ РУБЛЯ 1995г." below - "БАНК РОССИИ"(the inscriptions are separated with a diamond-shaped ornament).The reverse of the coin
depicts the actions on disarmament of the Kwantung army by Soviet troops (the Japanese soldiers throwing banners at the feet of the soldiers of the red army). In the background are mountains and pagoda (Chinese religious building). Circumferentially along the rim inscriptions: at the top - "РАЗГРОМ КВАНТУНСКОЙ АРМИИ В МАНЬЧЖУРИИ" at the bottom of the date - "9∙08-19∙08, 1945." (upper inscription is separated from the lower points).
The obverse and reverse of the coin features the speaker on the circumference of the piping.

In the spring of 1945 Germany was completely defeated and surrendered, but the East is gaining strength its ally, Japan. On 9 August the Soviet Union entered the war against Japan, the fighting was mainly in the territory of Korea and sovero-Eastern China (Manchuria). US troops landed on the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula, and the Red army came from Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. By the end of August, the Kwantung army was surrounded and was forced to surrender. Related American nuclear bombing of Japanese cities led to the surrender of Japan 2 September. Through the influence of the Soviet Union and the United States on the Korean Peninsula held the border, Korea was divided. For the USSR the result of Japan's defeat was the return of the entire territory of Sakhalin and Southern Kuril Islands.
The only version of the release of this coin. Made proof finish with the use of stamps, polished to a mirror Shine, while the relief has not been polished. Ideally a mirror surface and frosted design. The term proof-like (proof-like) indicates the possible presence of barely visible defects in the production and sales, missing out on the proof (proof). The coins were distributed sealed in an airtight cellophane packaging, then could shift collectors in a plastic capsule.
