Summer Universiade 2013 held in Kazan from 5 to 17 July. It was the first sports competition of this level held in Russia. Unlike the Olympics, the Universiade involves only students. The Russian national team by quantity of medals of all advantages significantly ahead of rivals, coming in first place.
