In 1925, due to the lack of gold were trying to establish a coinage of gold pieces of copper. It was minted just a few pieces of stamps of a new sample (the emblem of the USSR). The size of the gold coin repeats, even on the edge there is a designation of gold in grams, but the weight is about 2 times less (copper is much lighter than gold).
The obverse of the coin in the center of the emblem of the RSFSR 1923: the hammer and sickle on a globe, below the rising sun to the left and right ears of wheat, bound by tape with 6 turns (the number of languages then part of the USSR republics). Under the emblem there is the inscription - "С.С.С.Р." On top of the emblem is surrounded by a semicircle, over which a semicircle from left to right is the motto: "ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!" The inscription is made in the old Slavonic font. Around along the rim there is a ring of raised dots.
The reverse shows standing on the farmer scattering seeds. Behind him on the left is the plough, in the distance is the silhouette of the plant and upward from the horizon, the sun (symbol of socialism). At the top of old Slavonic font in a semicircle, nominal value - "ОДИН ЧЕРВОНЕЦ" Near the right leg of the sower along the rim the year of issue "1925". Around the image there is a ring of raised dots.
