Description of coin One Ducat 1925 "One chervonets " (Soviet coat of arms):

Under the emblem there is the inscription - "С.С.С.Р." On top of the emblem is surrounded by a semicircle, over which a semicircle from left to right is the motto: "ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!" The inscription is made in the old Slavonic font. Around along the rim there is a ring of raised dots.

The reverse shows standing on the farmer scattering seeds. Behind him on the left is the plough, in the distance is the silhouette of the plant and upward from the horizon, the sun (symbol of socialism). At the top of old Slavonic font in a semicircle, nominal value - "ОДИН ЧЕРВОНЕЦ" Near the right leg of the sower along the rim the year of issue "1925". Around the image there is a ring of raised dots.

With the front and back of a credit institution on the circumference of the piping.

The order for the replacement of the coat of arms of the RSFSR on the coat of arms of the USSR came from the leadership of the people's Commissariat of December 31, 1924. The dies for coins of a new type was made in February 1925, but due to the lack of material coinage started only in December. Since by this time the gold coin ceased to be an independent currency and was equal to 10 rubles, the issuance of such coins did not take place. Later, almost the entire edition was melted down, now there are only five extant copies.

The picture shows a specimen from the Museum of the Goznak "History of money" Saint-Petersburg mint.
The coins presented in the photos are in the collections of their owners and are not sold
