Description of coin 5 rubles 1991 (LMD, the state Bank of the USSR):

Chasing produced round billet of copper-Nickel alloy. The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping. Issued 29 December 1991.

The obverse of the coin in the Central ring of the cupola of the Senate building and the Spasskaya tower of the Moscow Kremlin. On a circle above the inscription - "ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ БАНК" below - "СССР" Labels separated by dots.

On the coin reverse in the centre is the denomination in two lines - "5 РУБЛЕЙ" underneath the horizontal line with the mark of the Leningrad mint (stylized letters "ЛМД" in the center. Still below the year of issue "1991". The sides along the rim: left wheat ear, the right branch of an oak tree (symbol of abundance and peace).

On the obverse in the Central circle of the dome of the Senate building and the Senate tower, on a circle the name of the state Бank.
The reverse depicts the denomination, date of issue and the mint mark.
