The obverse of the coin

a large image of the profile of Lenin (rotated right), underneath to Kant join dates "1870-1970". On the circumference of the rim of raised dots. The reverse has a rough surface.

Vladimir Ilyich Lenin - the organizer of the October 1917 Revolution, the first head of the RSFSR and later the USSR. He was born in 1870 in Simbirsk (now Ulyanovsk). Real name was Ulyanov, alias Lenin took after his exile to Siberia. His ideas were based on the works of Karl Marx and other Communists. In 1918 Lenin was assassinated, after which he began to develop the disease resulted in death in 1924. According to another version this is due to inadequate treatment. The body of the leader was placed in the mausoleum on red square in Moscow.
