The obverse of the coin

Lebedev, Pyotr Nikolayevich (1866-1912) was born in Moscow, he entered the technical school, where he was fond of physics and at the age of 21 years he went to Germany, where the laboratory has studied the physical laws. He received the degree of candidate of Sciences. He soon returned to Russia and continued research activities. The main focus of his work was proof light pressure of Maxwell. In their experiments, Lebedev used high-tech tools that was unknown to physicists of the time, but they allowed us to make striking conclusions about the laws of nature.
